MOVEIT is an Erasmus + Project aimed at implementing a training program for improving the physical exercise of people with intellectual disabilities through exergames and technology. MOVEIT is composed of 5 partners from Spain, Italy, Portugal and Norway, involving 2 universities, one social care cooperative, a highly specialized rehabilitation hospital and a regional public body.
The project started in April 2022 and now is immersed in the development of a new learning program tailored to the needs of professional staff and relatives to promote the use of exergaming through Information and Communication Technology in people with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities, which will be validated in different pilots in Spain and Portugal.
